excel 2013 - scollbar not visible in drop down data validation field

Opened new SP1 excel file in office 2013, and defined Data Validation for a cell. The validation based on a list of 15 values placed in a consecutive set of cells, with numeric values in downward direction.

When i click on the selection arrow that appears within the cell, the list appears but without scroll bar - it is though possible to use the keyboard up & down arrows to go up and down within the list and also reach values that are not displayed at first.

Some of the time there's a thick black line displayed instead of scrollbar, but not usable. Also sometimes, the scrollbar appears for a short time but also not usable.

Procedure was repeated in two separate computers, same results. Problem doesn't occur in office 2010. Can u pls advise ? Thx

Skype 2013 & Word 2010 incompatibility

 Hi

We are beginning to get problems with our VSTO Add In for Word, which has been working for several years.

We are very suspicious on a couple of circumstances regarding our clients.
The problems started when the customer began deploying Lync and Skype for business clients.
Initially they managed to find out which version of Skype for Business 2013 that was compatible with Microsoft Office 2010, and especially Word 2010.

Now it seems they have lost track of deployed Skype/Lync versions, but considering the amount of Skype versions released from Microsoft, I am not surprised.

Are there any recommendations available regarding the combination of these products?

At the moment the clients with problems are running this:
Microsoft Office Standard 2010, version 14.0.7208.5000 32-bit
Skype for business - Microsoft Lync 2013 15.0.4737.1000 MSO (15.0.4711.1000) 32-bit

Visio 10 and Visio 13 Can't find VBA

Just recently, both my versions of Visio won't run, displaying the error message that they can't find the Visio Basic for Applications file. I can't find a way to repair or download VBA. I've changed the Permission to allow it to run. I've tried solutions suggested on the Internet, and nothing will help. I can create a new drawing, but can't open and edit existing files. Any ideas?

If I use Dsum for more similar names, eg. Hans, Hansine and Hans Joergen, summarize the function correctly for Hansine and Hans Joergen. But for Hans, he falsely sums up both Hans, Hansine and Hans Joergen.

Is there a system error, or is there an option I have not found?

hi

I posted this in answers.microsoft.com, but they suggested me to post it here.

and I honestly do not know under which topic I should place it...

In regedit there is a key that I can't find any info about.

Computer\HKEY_USERS\*.*\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\ServiceAuthInfoCache\CredStoreKeyToAuthScheme

Where can I find info about the key and the values in there?

we have an value in the key that we need to delete on aprox 120 machines , the valu has the same url, but ends with diffrent numers on every machine.

Excel is crasing during pivot

Hi,

Issue  is Outlook and Pivot Tables crashing in Excel

    • When the user tries to do a pivot table in Excel it spins forever and stops responding,
    • User works out of her OneDrive but we also tried copying a file to desktop and had the same result.
    • Tried upgrading all apps as well as all Dell driver updates
    • Uninstalled Office 2013 32 bit and installed Office 2013 64 bit
    • Tried an upgrade to 16GB memory from 8GB
    • Reinstalled Operating system that was running Win7 with Win10 and Office 2016 (O365 click to run)

    How to prevent inlined textbox border in a table from disappearing when clicked?

    I created a table with 3 columns and as many rows until it overflows to the next page. Then, I insert a list in a row of the table in the next page. Next, I added a textbox. I then change the wrapping to In Line with Text.

    The issue is, when I click the textbox, the border disappears and moves to the top-left of the page. The text in the textbox still remain at the same place.

    Other notes

    I'm using Microsoft Word for Office 365 MSO (16.0.11029.20045) 32-bit and my OS is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

    Deactivate office 365 proplus

    Hello,

    If we click on the user and go to the Office install option, here we click on deactivate office. Its mean this user is no more active on this device for office 365 ProPlus?

    When we will deactivate the office for the user then after how many days it will be deactivate. Because after deactivation, the grace period will be start for 5 days. How we can force deactivate grace period too?

    Black Block on the daily task list in Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2016

    We use the daily task list all the time and drag and drop tasks into the next days to re-prioritize our work.  Since I upgraded to 2013 (and it also happens in 2016) a black block appears on the daily task list and I am unable to see any of the tasks. The block seems to "jump" between days but is on today's tasks most of the time.  Anyone knows how to solve this?

    Office 365 client fails to upgrade - Please close programs

    Hey everyone, was wondering if I could get some suggestions troubleshooting an Office 365 client upgrade failure.  For the past several weeks all my Office apps tell me I need to upgrade, however when I click the Upgrade button it fails with the error:

    Please close programs.We need to close some programs but weren't able to.Please restart your computer and try again.

    Rebooting doesn't make a difference, and attempts to close all programs and processes from Task Manager isn't helping either.  Any ideas?  I'm running v16.0.6741.2042.

    Why can't my function data be displayed as a chart?

    I want to make a dynamic histogram. Selecting A, B, C and D will correspond to 2, 1, 0 and 1, respectively. Why can Excel turn the data into a chart when it doesn't use a function, and can't refer to it after using a function?

    Excel VBA Range.Find returning incorrect results

    I have an excel spreadsheet that accepts user input from a sheet and then saves it as an xml file. Before saving it, it scans for nonbreaking spaces and other non printables. If any are found, the user is notified and the process is stopped.
    This has always worked fine. However, I shared he spreadsheet with a colleague in China and for some reason Range.Find is identifying every character as nbsp even though there are none. Range.Replace works properly and does not identify any of the characters as nbsp. This is Excel 2013 on Windows 7 with Chinese language support. The code is

    Dim rSearch As Range
    Dim rFound As Range
    Set rFound = rSearch.Find(Chr(160), , xlValues, xlPart, xlByRows, xlNext)

    Current channel and deferred channel

    Hello,

    Please check my understanding is correct.

    Current channel is called Monthly channel. If our company is updates conscious and company want to update with every latest release then it should choose current channel updates. 

    Deferred channel is called Sami-Annual Channel. In this channel Microsoft released updates two time a year. July and September. 

    Deferred Channel Targeted is called Sami-Annual Targeted. In this channel Microsoft released updates for Pilot users. If company want to test coming updates for the deployment then company will use this kind of channel?
