ExternalUser sends an email to ExchUser1. ExchUser1 forwards this email to ExchUser2. When the forward takes place, the email address of ExternalUser is removed, and only the name of the user is displayed in the inline header.
The ExternalUser is not in the Global Address Book.
Any ideas?
Yesterday morning I noticed that I was unable to open any files on our network drive with Office 2013 (SP1). This applies to all Office applications I've tested (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). When I attempt to open a file that is not locally stored, the splash screen comes up and sits for 3-5 seconds. It then disappears and immediately reappears, then the home screen opens (with no document). Using "Open" within an Office program does the same thing. No errors appear.
I was able to successfully open a file stored locally, but was not able to "Save" to a network location. The document immediately closed and brought me to the Word home screen. My network connection is solid. All other applications function and I have checked permissions. I've rebooted and reinstalled Office 2013 with no effect.
Any help would be appreciated.

Office team - can you please add the Autocorrect options back into the context-sensitive right-click menu on a spelling mistake in Word. I use theseall the time every day and its a PIA to not have them there.

We have a multi-sheet workbook with color graphs and charts that we would like printed in color. In order to print every sheet in color, we have to select each tab and set the print properties to color. If we do not, and print the entire workbook, the tab
that we was last selected prints in color, but the others in mono. Selecting all tabs at the bottom and making the change to color also does the except same thing with first sheet as color, the rest in mono.I have checked in the page setup (sheet tab) to ensure
that the "Black and white" box is not checked. The printer we use is on a print server and no I will not let the default be to color.
It takes a long time to print one of our workbooks in color. Any way around this?
In Outlook, mail that I delete reappears in my Inbox. How do I stop this process?

I'm using Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 Professional
When trying to set the default address list I am unable to select okay.
Outlook 2013 ==> Address Book ==> Tools ==> Options ... ==> When opening... changed to my iCloud or personal mailbox ==> OK does not respond, but is not greyed out.
So far I've tried:
Rebooting
Disabling All Add-Ins
Formatting and reinstalling windows and office
My principle account is just a POP3, but I have my contact through iCloud

We use Outlook as an email client, since we don't have a Exchange Server. When I make an archive 2 months ago, it works perfect, I could see all my older messages in my inbox and folder created. For some reason (I believe after the last office update or patch), every time i make an archive, when I open the file this message appear "We didn't find anything to show here in archived emails" and it's very annoying. Nothing appears even it says that there are unread emails on the folder.
How can I fix it?
Has anyone had an issue with Excel 2013 locking up? I get "out of memory issues"
Hardware is an I3 or an I5, Samsung 830 SSD, Windows 7 Enterprise, 64 bit Office, 4 GB RAM 6 GB pagefile.
These files seemed to work on Excel 2007 and in Excel 2010. The one thing I noticed on most of the offending machines Adobe Acrobat STD or PRO 10 is on there. However I disable the PDF plugin and the issue still seems to happen.
The files are somewhat large - 7-10 MB and we open 2-3 at a time. I know Excel is a memory hog but with 4 GB on a machine and 64 bit it should have wiggle room. Same sheets do NOT choke an XP machine that is running Office 2010.

I've run across an odd issue that I haven't been able to resolve. In Outlook 2013, on rare occasion, (Maybe once a day), while I'm typing either a new email, or a response to an email, my name will randomly get inserted in the email, in brackets, like this - [John Smith].
I have turned off the "Preface Comments With" in the options menu, but I don't think that is the fix, as this happens rarely. Also, I only turned it off yesterday, so I haven't given it enough time to see if it helped.
This seems like a macro or keyboard shortcut that might have gotten assigned accidentally, and hitting a key combo inserts my name, but I've checked both of those, and nothing custom has been set up.
Does anyone have any advice on what might be causing this issue to happen? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Hey guys I found out that after installing Office 2013 home and business (64bit office only) on a windows 8.1 pro 64bit the mail options in the control panel will not open or come up to create new profiles. This seems to only happen with the 64bit version of office 2013 on windows 8.1.
I think this only happens after already configuring a exchange account rebooting and then trying to open mail from the control panel. it doesn't seem to matter if you are a admin or not. For the time being those with the same issue as me just remove the old profile from the registry or make changes to the profile via the registry

again this is only an issue on the 64bit version of office 32bit works fine

Ok this is just so annoying.
Whenever I try to open Word, it gives the error "Sorry, something went wrong and Word was unable to start.(6)". Other office applications either freeze or crash. Only Excel works fine. Running Win7 64 bit.
Tried all possible ways of installation/reinstallation. Did repair, uninstalled and reinstalled manually, uninstalled with FixIt from Microsoft, removed every leftover thing from registry. Also removed some other applications that I thought could cause this problem for Office.
Uninstalled 64 bit Office, and installed 32 bit, same exact problems.

Good day, we are a little company who developed a PAAS in Dot Net 4.5. We strongly need to manipulate some Office Documents ( Word and Excel) in this Web-Based platform. As i can see Office 365 works good with SharePoint app., but in this case we are not talking about a SharePoint it's a web based platform, with online accessibility who requires Username and Pass.
Could anybdy help us to find some technical documentation, or to give some advices for this kind of integration Office 365 or Office Online with a Dot Net 4.5 PAAS.

I'm working on a deployment of Office 2013 in a corporate environment. Using the OCT, I've customized a package which is working well on machines that don't have previous version of Office installed. However, many of the existing machines currently have Office 2010. After executing the Office 2013 package, we're noticing that while the upgrade works, SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 Tools still exist in the Start -> Programs menu. I also see Office 2010 in Add/Remove programs (along with the new Office 2013). The OCT is specifically set to uninstall previous editions of Office during the upgrade (which is the default behavior).
I'll seen a couple of other posts like this on the forum, but unfortunately no answers. How can I *completely* uninstall Office 2010 (including SharePoint Workspace 2010 and the Office 2010 tools) during the upgrade to Office 2013? This corporation doesn't need SharePoint Workspace 2010; my guess is that it was included by default with the Office 2010 package that they rolled out in the past.

i have question about Microsoft Access 2013. my work is mostly related to storing records in access table. For example i want that when i select a product-id from the combo box the next filed automatically get filled with the price of this product-id. i have uploaded the the file on one drive as well below you can find the link. now when i click to the product-id in talble2 in Sample it gives me the multiple choices i want that Microsoft access his self match the product-id with product id in another table and bring the price for me, and automatically write it to the next column. i have not much experience of programming in access. hope you understand my question

We have recently moved our mail services from an old Exchange server to the cloud (office365) and one of our shared mailboxes is causing troubles.
The users cannot flag the mails anymore (so no-one knows who is doing the follow-up). When flagging a mail, there is a pop-up saying "error: you don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation". Both users have "owner" rights on said shared mailbox (no problems with the other shared mailboxes).
Going to file < account settings < account settings < exchange account < change < more settings < advanced < uncheck download shared folders (in effect removing local copy of the shared mailbox) and restarting outlook does not solve
the issue.
Running outlook.exe /cleanviews (still no local copy of the problematic shared mailbox) does not solve it either.
Any suggestion is welcome, thx.
