Project Gantt chart bar Borders Won't Print in MS Project 2013
Hi
I've customised the bars on the Gantt chart to just borders and no fill. However the bar borders do not show up in the print preview or in the print out.
I'm currently using MS Project 2013.
Please can someone help resolve this issue?

Office 2010 wont run
I bought 2010 on line and have the back up disc. I have had a pc problem. I reinstalled the 2010 with the back up disc from MS. This accepts my product code It does not create a new short cut on Desk top (previously Word Excell & Access displayed.
There has always been a short cut for 2010 on desk top never worked) I click on this and it does not recognise my product code.

Office 365 ProPlus Activation Issues

I'm preparing for a deployment of Office 365 ProPlus using the Office Deployment Tool (ODT) and having trouble getting Office to activate after installation. Using my custom .xml file, I'm able to install only Office products that are needed without issue using a Group Policy start-up script. It is necessary for me to do this because none of the users in my environment have local administrator rights and cannot install Office on their own using Click-to-Run. Installing with a start-up script uses the System account to circumvent that issue. Upon first launch of Office 365 ProPlus I'm prompted to enter my email address and password for activation and promptly receive the error "There is a problem with your account. Please try again later."
I've verified that an Office 365 ProPlus license has been provisioned for my account through our portal and have ADFS running without issue. Here's where things start to get strange... In testing, I added myself as a local administrator to my desktop and downloading/installed the Click-to-Run from our Office portal. Upon launching Office for the first time it was activated automatically and the portal showed that a license was used.
As of right now I'm at a bit of a loss as to why I can't activate Office using valid credentials with proper licenses provisioned when installing with the ODT but it auto activated when using Click-to-Run. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

After troubleshooting the issue more yesterday I found that whenever I try to activate Office 365 ProPlus an error is generated in the application log.
The description for Event ID 0 from source MSOIDSVC.EXE cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
InitializeSvcAPI failed with hr = 0x8004825b
I've thus far been unsuccessful in figuring out what MSOIDSVC.EXE is or what it does.

MSOIDSVC.EXE is part of the Microsoft Services Sign-In Assistant (MSO SIA). After installing MSO SIA and verifying that the services were running activation still failed.
Office 365 integration with PAAS
Good day, we are a little company who developed a PAAS in Dot Net 4.5. We strongly need to manipulate some Office Documents ( Word and Excel) in this Web-Based platform. As i can see Office 365 works good with SharePoint app., but in this case we are not talking about a SharePoint it's a web based platform, with online accessibility who requires Username and Pass.
Could anybdy help us to find some technical documentation, or to give some advices for this kind of integration Office 365 or Office Online with a Dot Net 4.5 PAAS.

Outlook 2013 (click to run) Add-ins and Customising the Ribbon
All,
I've been asked to customise the ribbon in Outlook 2013 which seems easy.
However one of the items we want to place in our custom ribbon gets created in the "Add-ins" tab and is therefore not available in the customise the ribbon UI.
I have a feeling that it will be difficult to get this into the correct place for us without editing someone elses code...but thought I would ask around on here anyway.
So if you know why some add-ins get placed in the add-ins tab in Outlook or have any other info it would be great to hear from you...

How to change the Change the OneDrive for Business Folder Location
I have two separate drives a small C: SSD to run the operating system and other programs, and a regular D: hard drive to store the bulk of their content.
I want to sync OneDrive for business but the C: drive does not have sufficient capacity.
I can find instructions on how to change the folder location to my D drive. Information is available for OneDrive, not OneDrive for Business

Unable to Login with new yammer account
Hi,
We have integrated yammer to our site, but every time I am trying to login using yammer account I am kicked back to my site's login page with some error. I am unable to get into the site using "deepikat@snlcorporate.com" account. Our other accounts are working fine.
I am trying to lo-ginwith microsoft credentials using the "login with Yammer" button. When I entered my credentials and click allow access then I am taken back to lo-gin page of my site with error.
This ApI: "api/v1/users/current.json" is returning null for this user
Issue is only with new accounts, other old accounts are working fine.
I hope this is the correct place to ask this question.

Office Preview windows
One of the users is having an error when try to open Excel files attached from MS Outlook emails. Apparently, the preview window on the bottom become blank and she can't manage to go through the spreadsheet. I have tried the basic things like update Windows and Office, change the folder options and make sure there are enough memory RAM and processor resources.

One note Crashes when opening notebook
I have been using Onenote for about a week. I have been creating a notebook on my hard drive not Sky drive. However now when I try to open the binder. the program becomes unresponsive.
The only change I did was going into the file and clicking on one note recycle. once I emptied the recycle bin. That was it
I do have access to the file and can open it on another computer.

Limited choices of Office Theme causing damage to eyesight
The company where I am employed very recently upgraded to Office 2013. I have been using it for less than one week and cannot believe how badly it has directly affected my eyesight. I've been experiencing headaches, blurred vision, and find myself avoiding required computer work as much as possible. I have submitted a complaint to our IT person, but not certain that there is much they can do about this situation. Why would the Microsoft Design Team have ever considered the Office Theme of white, light gray and dark gray as viable options? It would seem to me that this could possibly be a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Missing Email
I'm using Office 365 web and was trying to set up Outlook 2013 locally. After many attempts to get the mail setup to automatically set the server setting, it finally worked. However, all mails from the 28th May to the 18th June seem to have been downloaded from the web. Unfortunately, these emails are not in the local Outlook instance. Is there anyway to get the mails back on the web version?
Question on OneDrive For business
Office 2013 - Excel 2013 - "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
I had Office 2010 starter and Outlook 2010 installed. I recently purchased the Office 2013 click to run version (paid monthly subscription) and installed Office 2013. After installing 2013 I noticed that when I opened up Excel files they would still open in Office 2010. I uninstalled Office Starter 2010 and uninstalled Outlook 2010.
I then manually fixed the file associations for Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and such, however I could not manually fix the Excel file association.
Excel documents show the correct icon however when I double click on them the following error appears "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."
I have used the Office 2013 repair process, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2013, I have manually uninstalled office 2013 using KB 2739501 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501/en-us ) and I still can not open Excel documents.
Recently I found that I can not do mail merges either using Excel documents as the data source and I believe the two items are related.
Any suggestions?
Very Slow to save Office 2013 files (Excel/Word) to a network share
I have an issue with a customer's system whereby they experience problems with saving either a Word or Excel file to another workstation on the network.
The network share is located on a Windows7 Pro x64 machine. The problem can be seen on a machine that's running Windows 8.1 Pro X64 along with Office 2013. When the user attempts to save the document back to the network share, there's a very long delay (sometime around a minute) before the save completes.
I've tried turning off indexing of off-line files (via indexing options) and also declaring the network location as a trusted location (via the Trust Centre settings from within Excel & Word).
If I simulate the same, but with a local file (eg loaded/saved to the Desktop) then there's no delay, so I conclude that it's something related to the process of saving data to the network share.
The normal copy speed across the network, and between these 2 machines, is very fast. It's only when running Word/Excel that the problem manifests itself.
Any pointers would be gratefully received!

E-mails opening full screen
I have just come across this issue and it is incredibly annoying.
I am using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit, with Office 2013, on an HP Revolve 810 hybrid laptop/tablet.
Every time I open an e-mail, or open a new mail window it comes up full screen. No matter what I try, I cannot get Outlook to recognise the fact I don't want them open full screen.
I am using the native resolution for this machine and have not increased the dpi settings at all, it is set for 100%.
I have used Outlook 2013 on a number of different machines before, but this is the first time on a hybrid/tablet and it's the first time I've seen the issue.
Printing staff card by Access 2013, margins change automatically
there are 2 computers using a Access share file to print staff card (name card size)
both computers were installed with same card printer
the report is defaulted with that printer.
the strange stuff is
when i set report fit at computer A, report zoom to the right top croner at computer B and all the margins change
when i set report fit at computer B, report zoom to the right top croner at computer A and all the margins change
how can make it same showing in both computers? thanks.
