Hello,
I raised an issue ticket, 616072793889542, with Microsoft and the first level support person who was handling the case said that this was a network issue.
I doubt that it is a network issue as the user has tried access both via Outlook 2013 installed on the local machine as well as via a terminal server session hosting Outlook 2013 inside our AWS environment.
This ticket is a result of a ticket from one of our clients. The client has reported:
"We appear to have intermittent issues with Outlook 365 where we appear to lose connection with the mail server.
A warning will sometimes appear (particularly if trying to print an email) in the form of a balloon message and the outlook icon in the task bar will change to include a small hour glass symbol.
Also when trying to send an email the system will sometimes freeze for a few seconds (and may show the hourglass symbol) before working again.
The message says words to the effect of “..Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft Exchange server outlook.office365.com….”
I have provided all requested logs in this ticket and would like to engage the next level of support as I doubt it is a network issue.
