Hi there,

I want to activate office 365 developer site from msdn subscription. I used the MS account to sign up office 365 with trial license. At that time my msdn subscription was in platform level. Now I have elevated msdn subscription to Enterprise level and now I should be able activate a office 365 developer site. But when I opened the office 365 portal (from MSDN Subscription -> My account), I was told I could only used trial once. 

What can I do next?

I purchased Microsoft Office Home & Business 2016 after using a trial version of Office 365. Apparently Office 365 did not completely uninstall. I keep getting error messages when I use my system offline that my "subscription status" cannot be confirmed.

I wanted to design a poster, so thought I'd try Publisher. I inserted a number of pictures, but when I try and drag them to move them into the desired position, and also when I try to resize them, the mouse starts jumping across the screen. I don't believe the issue is with the mouse, as if I move the mouse without clicking the button to drag an item, it moves smoothly across the screen, and I have not noticed this happening in other applications.

Any suggestions?

After upgrading from Lync to Skype for Business I notice there's a welcome screen with 7 quick tips that appears on first use. Just looking for the registry value(s) to suppress this.

I'm having an issue when trying to export a Sharepoint workflow saving the file as VWI.

After many hours troubleshooting i found the issue for my computer and seems a failure from Visio 2013, if you go to control panel (default programs) and try "associate a file type or protocol with a program" you'll see,there's no VWI file type to associate with Visio.

On the other hand if you try "set program access and computer defaults" and choose Visio 2013 program, and try to choose defaults for this program, automatically it will bring all file types associated with Visio 2013with exception of VWI, seems a bug or they forget to set the file type association with Visio 2013.

I would like to have a reply from Microsoft and all of you facing this issue to verify if we have the same scenario, thanks.

Hi, My problem encountered is 

- when i click on the excel's cell, i'm unable to type in the word directly unless i double click on each of the cell only can type.

After tried to restart the excel, then it works.

May I know any cause on this or any solution for this?Because it keeps happening out of sudden and i have tried to reinstall and disable all the adds-on but still the same.

Anyone can help?!!

I installed Voip Connect on Windows 10,but the font size is so small it is almost impossible to read. Changing font size via settings/display does not help. How do I get Voip back as it was displayed in Windows 7. Thanks in anticipation.

I am doing some R&D on the possibility of using Office Online through the Thin Client environment. I have used the Office Online sites to good effect lately but wanted to ask about the security certificate, if i may.

When testing Office Online through my Windows 10 PC, the Secure Certificate for the sites is always present, however this is hit and miss on the Thin Client I am testing on. Is there a way to install the certificate to the Thin Client?

Hi,

I have purchased Visio 2013 License and trying to install it on a OEM installed Office 2016, Visio installer is asking me to uninstall MS Office 2016 saying that "You have and updated Office Installed". Kindly help me out this situation.

I am seeing a strange problem with Office 2013. If a nonadmin users launches MS office nothing happens. If I run the app as an admin it functions just fine. I even went to program files\microsoft\office 15\root\office 15 and granted the user full control still nothing. I also used process monitor to see what reg keys the application was hitting still nothing. So has anyone here seen this before?

Hello,

I have a few users with Office 2013, their organization uses Office 365. They have their own personal mailbox, and then a shared mailbox they all use.

They would like an option to search both their user mailbox and the shared mailbox at the same time but I am seeing no such option. I know there is an "All Mailboxes" option in the search dropdown menu if you have multiple mailboxes added but for some reason it does not appear in this case.

The shared mailbox is automatically added to their outlook through Office 365 permissions.

Any workaround for this?

Hello,

I have a client that's having an odd issue with some calendars. This user has full control and ownership on every calendar in the company. When she tries to move certain recurring calendar entries, the following error pops up:

"Cannot move the items. You cannot move one occurrence of an appointment series to a different folder. To move a recurring appointment, you must move the original appointment or copy the single occurrence and move the copy." 

This is strange because she's not trying to move these entries between calendars or folders. She simply trying to move it to a different time within the same calendar. Also, the issue appears to be intermittent. Some recurring appointments can be moved, some can't.  I also attempted to make the same modification from the user's system that initially created the calendar, and had the same issue so we know this isn't a permissions issue.

They never had this issue before up until about 2 weeks ago.

Windows 7 64bit

Office 2013 H/B

Exchange 2010

Thoughts?

I have Microsoft Office Home and Business 2013 loaded on my Windows 7 laptop. Outlook 2013 doesn’t work with my companies Exchange Server. Since I have both Office 2010 and 2013 loaded, I want to continue to use the other programs in Office 2013, but revert back to Outlook 2010. For that matter, I would also like to remove the other Office 2010 programs. So my Office software selection would look like this:

Outlook 2010

Word 2013

Excel 2013

PowerPoint 2013

One Note 2013 (or 2010)

I'm using the same outlook 365  account on 3 different computers. My issue is that we each have different folder views ie:received time, font etc and when one of us change the view it changes across all 3 computers for that account. Is there any way to keep the folder views per computer instead of syncing with outlook 365?

I need to export my company gal to excel. But when i tried from outlook, file-export-contacts, I only got my personal contacts. 

Is there a way from power shell, I'm an 0365 admin.

hello, 

I'm working on SharePoint 2013 on-premises site with SharePoint Designer.

I created a "REST Service Connection" data source pointing to the list onoffice 365 site, and set Login info with my own NT account and password

https://xx.sharepoint.com/teams/mysite/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/mylistname

I can get list info in browser without any problem, but when i add the the data source onto the page, i get "The server returned a non-specific error when trying to get data from the data source..."

I read this https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/148/t/79151, and seems this is a known issue for office 365, 

is there any update on this.

I purchased Microsoft Works and ran it and loved it for years. When I built my new computer the disk would not install. I purchased a new disk from Amazon and when I tried to install it Microsoft Works 9 it gives a cyclic redundancy error. I have 2 clean product codes that are good and 2 copies but I can't get anything to work with windows 10. In the last year I have purchased 7pro, XP, 8.0, and 8.1 and the 2 Microsoft Works programs.  I am not rich I went without a lot trying to get what I WANTED.  I don't want Office 365 and I don't want to have to pay each month for a program I have already purchased, even if it is only 6.99 a month.  It feels like the little guy is getting trod upon and I'm the little guy.  All I need is to know how to fix the error or a link to download Works so I can enter one of the 2 product codes I have purchased.  Please help this is driving me nuts,  I have been trying to fix this for a year.  Thanks

I have an InfoPath-Form with some Fields, Rules and Data-Connections.
When i try to send this Form to the library, sometime i get this error.

InfoPath cannot submit the form.

An error occurred while the form was being submitted.

The form cannot be submitted to the following location:https://****************************.xml

The site may be offline, read-only, or otherwise unavailable.

The parameter is incorrect.

In Event Viewer there is under "Microsoft Office Alerts" this Event:

Some rules were not applied.

P1: 1200176

P2: 15.0.4805.1000

P3: aaw74P4:

The strange Thing is, thiserrorwill not always produce. Sometimes it works sometimes not. Sometimes after 10 trys to send, it will not work, the next try works.

Testet o 3 Systems, (Farms) 2 has the Error, 1 not.

Has someone an idee?

Hello All,

I am getting attached error while opening Excel 2016 from from SharePoint on Windows 10 computers, if I click on the file and then choose "View in browser" I can view the file but cant edit them, but when I try to open the file in Excel I get the error. This issue is happening only for Excel 2016, the files open fine on Office 2013 and Win 10.

Any help is appreciated
