Hi,
I needed to use powerpoint 2013 urgently on a weekend. I tried contacting my IT staff to see if we already owned office 2013. As I waited for their response, I had the clever idea of installing Office 2013 Trial edition for 60 days, which I did. I was able to do what I needed to do and it turned out we do own office 2013 at the office.
So on Monday I tried to put in our product key to the trial edition, but it wouldn't allow it because it is a volume license product key and not a personal one.
OK, no biggie, I'll just uninstall the 2013 I have and install from the corporate iso. I did. Except when I run the newly installed corporate version, it still says at the top "Trial Version (Buy)".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled too many times to count.
I have tried the support tickets about uninstalling:
and the one that gives you an actual fixit program to run to uninstall:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501
And still, the freaking trial version remains!
I have wasted hours on this problem. How do I REALLY AND TOTALLY uninstall the trial version of office 2013 so I can install the corporate one?
