Hi there - I am having a strange issue with Excel in Office 365 not launching. Any time I try to run this under the user's profile it says it was unable to launch the program (with no details as to why) and offers to repair the program. Here are some details:
- Repairing, both quick repair and full repair have been attempted repeatedly and do not fix the Excel issue.
- This is only affecting Excel; all of the other programs in the suite run and work correctly.
- When launching Excel (and only Excel; none of the other programs do this) UAC asks if it's okay to make a change to the program.
- This will not run in safe mode (excel /safe), I get the same error.
- Here's the kicker: I created another computer user account and Excel runs perfectly. This of course leads me to the fact that it is something in the user's profile, but I cannot find any differences (App Data or Registry wise) between the two profiles.
Any ideas as to what I am missing? Thanks for any help you can offer!
