I use Office Professional 2007 with Business Contact Manager. Last week when I tried to use office, I got a message saying I did not have Office. I was given several options, including "if you did buy Office, enter your Product Key. I didn't have that available, and I needed to open my Power Point, so I chose the option to download a Free 30 day trial of Office 2013. This allowed me to get into Power Point. When I got back to my office, I un-installed the 2013, and re-installed my 2007 software. I am now back to normal with my Business Contact Manager except for one important facet. When I open an opportunity, I no longer can open the "History" tab. In the past, this allowed me to read Outlook emails which were attached to this opportunity.
Now when I hit the History tab, I get the spinning little circle like it's searching, then I get a message with the Office 2013 Logo attached. This is odd because I un-installed the 2013. The message says "Somethig went wrong-We couldn't start your program. Try again, and if still won't work trt repair."
Shortly after that I get a Microsoft Office Outlook Window with an error message stating, "error loading form, some of the needed controls may not be registered."
I use Business Contact Manager exclusively as my CRM, and the history feature is important to me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Harry
