We are trying to roll out tablets to our user base and would like to use RDWeb Apps to serve up Office 2013 apps to take advantage of their better touch performance. But when running Outlook 2013 from the server via Web-apps on a tablet the app doesn’t respond as if it’s on a tablet. Trying to scroll through emails only highlights and selects them. This is the one major drawback we are experiencing, when you double touch an email it opens it and the touch controls seem to work okay.
We are running the remote-apps from Server 2008 R2 Datacenter SP1, sitting on a VMware infrastructure. The Office version we’re using is Pro Plus 2013 and we have tried both the Dell Latitude 10 and MS Surface Pro tablets. Any idea and suggestions would be helpful.
