This is by far the biggest issue that is keeping me from really recommending the new Microsoft ecosystem to other people.
I find that whenever I get an email from a new contact I am forced to log in to outlook.com to create a new rule.
Currently if I were to create a rule in Outlook 2013 it wouldn't have any effect on outlook.com
I have several Inboxs sorted as followed:
Inbox
--> Microsoft.com
--> Blog Subscriptions
--> Purchases & Shipments
--> Services
--> Work & Education
Having my email sorted like this allows me to sort through my new emails much faster than before. Unfortunately without the ability to sync rules between webmail and desktop I'm starting to wonder why I even use the outlook desktop software anymore.
