Synchronisation does not create Calendar and Tasks with correct folder names

I have just done a clean install of Windows 8.1 and Office 365 on my home PC.

I have 3 calendars set up in my outlook account, named Teaching, Availablity, and UK Holidays. I expected these calendar names, and their associated task lists, to be reproduced in Outlook on my PC, but........

When I ran the Outlook program for the first time, I setup my Outlook account (as Exchange Active Synch - not  IMAP) and it started the synchronisation process. After synchronisation, Outlook on my PC shows 3 calendars, named Calendar, Availabilty, and UK Holidays instead of Teaching, Availablity, and UK Holidays.

The one called Calendar contains the same appointments as the one called Teaching in my outlook account - it just has the wrong name!

The rename facility for Calendar is grayed out so I can't change the folder name on my PC.

The same problem applies to my tasks. In my account I have 2 task lists, one in the Teaching calendar and one in the Availabilty calendar, but in Outlook on my PC I have "Tasks" and "Tasks - Availabilty". And of course the one named "Tasks" contains the tasks which are in the online Teaching calendar.

The rename facility for Tasks is grayed out so I can't change the folder name on my PC.

I guess that these are the default folders which Outlook creates, but surely there should be some way to rename them so that they match the names of the calendar and tasklist in my outlook account.

Just to be absolutely clear, I don't have a problem with the contents of the calendars and task list. It is justthe calendar names and task list names which are not correct.
