Hello everyone,
I have a problem with Outlook 2013. Actually I have this error in every instance of Outlook 2013 that I have tried on 7 separate computers running Windows 7 Pro, Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 8.1 Pro
More specifically, when trying to sync an IMAP account from Gmail, the sync process is excruciatingly long. For an account with 10GB of email on a 15Mbps connection the sync has taken longer than three weeks. Furthermore, we have approximately 1000 instances of the following error under "Sync issues":
13:24:48 Synchronizer Version 15.0.4551.1507
13:24:48 Synchronizing Mailbox 'ejagermann@gmail.com
13:28:14 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
13:32:16 402 item(s) added to offline folder
13:32:16 1 item(s) updated in offline folder
13:32:16 Error synchronizing folder
13:32:16 [800CCC0F-0-0-560]
13:32:16 Done
I have added 3 separate Gmail accounts via IMAP on various machines running Outlook 2013 and all experience this same issue. This problem does not appear on Outlook 2007 or 2010. Furthermore, after hours of scouring the web, I have found that this issue has appeared for dozens if not hundreds of people and I haven't seen any official from Microsoft? There was even a thread created by a Microsoft MVP nothing this issue during pre-release and it never seems to have been resolved. Does IMAP just universally not work correctly on Outlook 2013, or does somebody have a fix for this issue?
Cheers,
Corey
