We have Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2013 for our clients. When our users send calendar invitations to external recipients, some of the recipients are receiving regular emails just containing the notes field and subject. Specifically, when we email a @hotmail.com or @outlook.com address this occurs. However, when we send an external calendar invitation to @gmail.com, the recipient can see it as a calendar invite and reply with an accept/tentative/decline.
