Hi folks,
I just uninstalled Outlook 2013 after experiencing what appears to be the common issue of IMAP not syncing correctly. I have retained the rest of the 2013 suite on my machine, but have reverted to Outlook 2010.
I now don't have a problem with mailbox changes appearing in Outlook, but I have to select a folder for the changes to be displayed, mailbox changes are not displayed automatically. This is obviously not great, as it appears I have no new mail for
several hours, but when I click on the inbox, all the new emails I've received appear all at once.
When I hit the 'send/receive all folders' button, the progress dialogue doesn't display, even though it is set to. Send receive groups is configured to automatically update the relevant accounts every 5 minutes.
Does anyone have any idea why I'm experiencing this behaviour, and what might be done to fix it? Does Outlook 2010 not 'play nice' when the rest of the office suite is 2013?
Thanks,
Pete
